Basic Structure And Process In Electronic Door System

Electronic door has gained the popularity recently but this is not a new thing at all. The basic concept of high-security doors is of 2000 years old. Linus Yale has invented the concept almost 150 years ago and in this twenty-first era, it is the time for an upgrade and improvement. The electronics doors or the keyless electronic doors are actually the next steps of the evolution of door access controlling service. These are pick proof and best to provide all in all security.

Not just at the office or home, security is so much important for the shopping zones or the shopping malls, in the hospitals, bus stops, railway stations and of course in the airports. For these places, the security gates like tripod turnstiles, boom barrier gates, and flap barrier gates are so very effective. These are so smart and sleek in looks and so much upgraded in operation. Even you can install it at the parking lots and toll tax plaza too. To control the heavy rush of people or cars, these are super effective.

Concepts of Electronic door system

  • Electronic door systems are mostly used to grant the authorization to a vehicle or a person thereby it provides restricted access out and in of a place of concern. These door systems are highly beneficial in comparison with the conventional monitoring and locking systems. In the practice of traditional system, there was just a register book to maintain the entries manually. The electronic door systems provide high-end security and it also helps in keeping a check on the reliability and punctuality of the people.
  • The traditional check post or the physical barrier cannot assure as much security and safety as the electronic access control systems. For instance, if the check post or the pole is open left, you never found the details of people, entered that time. Dodging the well-equipped security staff can happen also. Whereas if there the electronic doors, never require a specific person to monitor the details of entry. So there is no chance of negligence.

How to install

  • The typical digital door consists, an SMPS or switched mode power supply, relay, a battery, simple push exit button and sensor. The sensor, in this case, can be the barcode reader, card reader, a touch screen or scanner. The touch screen is for monitoring the every entering person digitally. There also a printed circuit board or PCB, on that the entire connections are created. To power the system a 12V DC battery is enough sufficient. There also the variety of lock types, it can be touch lock, card lock or proximity. A cable is connected to the sensor including battery, input and output lines to the multi-pin connector on the relevant board. In order to cut down the risk factor of short circuit and to promote a safe operation, connect the battery at last, at the final stage of the installation program, after completing all the connections.
  • The wire is connected to the relay from the electronic door. The relay is actually a switch, which is electrically operated and it a switch of low power. The switch close down by sensed fed information and it sends the command to the lock system to open the door automatically matches the scanned information with proper authentic data. Now after completing all the connections the system starts working at the required place with installed software.

The automatic boom barrier gates or the other digital doors are the assets to provide 100% secure service at the genre of security and safety, especially in the sensitive places.
